While we were carrying out market research not only were we taken aback by the overwhelming support for the new Stoke Air Ambulance, when it came to choosing the colour to paint our helicopter to differentiate it from the red & yellow ones your ideas on how we could make our helicopter unique were brilliant. We looked around the area for inspiration and thanks to Julie Haughton from Stone we found a colour which is recognised throughout the world and is firmly associated with the industrial past of Stoke on Trent, so as a tribute to the heritage of this great cities past we will be proud to paint the Stoke Air Ambulance helicopter Wedgwood blue after Wedgwood’s most famous blue jasperware and to name the helicopter Jasper.

In true Wedgwood style we have added a band of white decorations around Jasper as a further tribute to the heritage of this area in the style of the bottle oven skyline which has dominated Stoke on Trent for hundreds of years, we hope you like it and thank you Julie.
