As we begin 2026, Stoke Air Ambulance continues to focus on strong governance, robust clinical oversight, and long-term sustainability to support the delivery of our charitable objectives.
To support this, we are expanding our Board of Trustees and are seeking to appoint 2–3 additional independent trustees who are able to contribute at a strategic level and fulfil the legal duties of trusteeship in line with Charity Commission guidance.
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in:
- Clinical practice, particularly emergency or pre-hospital care
- Charity law, governance, or regulatory compliance
- The air ambulance or wider emergency services sector (highly desirable)
Trustees collectively share responsibility for the governance, strategic direction, and financial oversight of the charity, ensuring it operates effectively, lawfully, and in the best interests of its beneficiaries.
Trustee roles are voluntary and unremunerated. Applicants must be eligible to act as a charity trustee and willing to undertake appropriate due diligence.
For an initial confidential discussion, please contact Daniel Moores, Trustee, at

All expressions of interest will be considered by the full Board of Trustees as part of a fair and transparent recruitment process.
